the jackass 3D european campaign: spain revisited

I'll be honest with you: I have a hard time giving up the past, and that's precisely why we're still in Spain—never mind the fact a significant amount of our daily traffic comes from there. Coincidence? Plate of shrimp? Random movie references that are now lost on a new generation of confused repo men? All these questions and more will not be answered, and that is even more precisely why we're going back down memory lane with a few videos I found while wandering around the worldwide wasteland. For instance, this straight up clippy clip from the premiere of jackass 3D at the Kinepolis in Madrid:

And now that you've seen a professional take on the movie premiere proceedings, let's step it down a digital pixel or two (perhaps even more) and peep the Spanish fan's eye view from the theatrical stands as the boys get wiggedy-wiggedy-wack on the mike while welcoming the crowd:

The world would not be what it is without poles—and no, that's not a nod to the Polish, but rather the concept of opposites. And with that we trade the in for the out to see an even more degenerative fan's eye view of the Kinepolis premiere entrance:

Bonus! Virtually every MTV EMA-oriented celebrity was housed at the Westin Palace, where numerous Españiards camped out all hours of the day to catch a glimpse of someone famous—or not, in some instances, an example being our cameraman Tyler Swain. I think he was initially mistaken by some teenage girls for Dave England (?)  and from there he proceeded to sign numerous autographs, pose for photos and receive the full flash popping power of the paparazzi. What with the old world architecture, giddy foreign accents and ebullient enthusiasm, it was all very Fellini-esque in our very own la dolce vita ridicola. Anyway, here's a random treasured moment from one campista feliz outside the hotel as the jackass cast made their way out the door and off to the EMAs:
