It's been a while since we heard tell of the Wild Whites clan, but this Friday, February 11, The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia is premiering on Showtime at 9:30pm ET/PT. For those afflicted by short-term memory loss or painful burning sensations while urinating, The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia was produced by Dickhouse in 2009 and is proudly touted as "a portrait of America's last outlaw family."
This revelatory documentary on Jesco White and his West Virginia clan deals with all sorts of wild and wonderful subject matter, including but not limited to tattoos, gunplay, spousal stabbing, and heavy prescription drug abuse ... speaking of which, Boone County mating call, anyone? Sorry, I've got definite ADHD symptoms I need to get checked out—and how!—but for further details on air dates, times, and other Showtime business:
And if you like the documentary, well hell, why not own the damn thing? It's perfect popcorn fodder for any and all family gatherings—aside from bar or bat mitzvahs, that is, in which case I'd actually go more for something along the lines of The Frisco Kid (1979) or The Party (1968).
So if you're redneck and you know it, get 'er done over here:
