Actually, there are some upbeat moments. One of my favorites is when Rog sings part of a song he and Dunn wrote together called "Shrooms and Moonshine". We also tried to play a few of Ryan's favorite musicians, too, like The Frogs and David Allan Coe. Ryan loved all Coe's music (and also David Allan's son Tyler), but he liked his naughty stuff special so I played "3 Biggest Lies" off his Nothing Sacred album. In short, we did the best we could to honor our fallen friend and, well, here you go: The Big Ass Happy Family Jubilee's Tribute to Ryan Dunn.
Sincerely and love,
Knoxville

David Allan Coe is fucking amazing. So fitting that Ryan would be a fan. Hahahahaha. Three biggest lies is one of my favorites. "Homosexuals" and Finger Fucking Sally are also near and dear to me... Nice to know that from this point forward, when I toss on one of his cd's... It'll be another happy reminder of the Random Hero, Ryan Dunn.

This might sound strange, but with Ryan Dunn's, I've been a little more at peace with dieing. I'm not saying I have suicidal tendencies or anything, but it's cool to know that whereve I go after death.. it's likely Dunn will be their.
Rest in peace.

I am a grown ass man from Canada in my 30s. I grew up a 'skater' and in my late teens, early twenties found cky, jackass, and was entertained for over a decade. I was devastated to hear of his death. A week after Ryan died I cried harder then I have in fifteen years. Needless to say I was surprised at how his death affected me. A fucking person who I have never met!! I didn't cry like that for my own grandmother! I am not the only one in my group who felt the same. I will show my kids CKY and Jackass with pride when they are older(that may make me fucked up to some, but again.... with pride). RIP Random Hero.

that was lovely what you said Johnny, Ryan would be so proud of all of you. Stay strong. I lost my brother when I was 13 and it is bloody hard, i know, but honestly...it'll become easier to deal with x. I know my brother is around me, I know it because I can just feel it. And Ryan will be with you ALWAYS. Even when you're taking a dump ;) He's no Random hero - he's made an impact on so many peoples lives. He's an inspiration.
Love you Jackass Family - stay strong xxx

I appreciate all of you sharing this with us and I hope to see more. I know how hard this is for all of you.. We all obiviously love him too. I have been a fan since the second time you guys aired Jackass. The first one I laughed, but wasn't sure.. Sorta a WTF moment. Then I watched again and been hooked ever since then. Sorta reminded me of growing up, we all did stupid shit too.. just not to the extent that you all do. I have already said RIP, etc. so I won't anymore. It is time to heal, remember, laugh and rejoice. I hope you all are doing ok, I know it won't ever be the same for you.

So I've been going back and forth about how to post this and exactly what to say. 2 1/2 years ago almost to the day that Dunn passed, my best friend passed away too. He was only 32 years old and it was sudden. Totally could have been avoided too. The last 2 years have been the hardest of my life. I miss him all the time. Funny as it sounds I feel really sad that Dunn is gone. I didn't know him but he was always my favorite memeber of Jackass/Viva la Bam. I guess all I really want to say is hang in there. Keep the memories alive. You don't know me but...we're all here for you guys.
Bam-time doesn't make it better, it just makes it bearable at some point. Lean on your friends and family. We love you, you have made our lives more enjoyable. Don't forget that.

A good buddy of mine died a little less than a year ago after succumbing to injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was an exceptional guy. He totally lived in the moment, like he knew that nothing was guaranteed; that life was full of chance, and everyday was a gamble. He was always laughing and engaging everyone around him. His personality was so infectious. We miss him everyday.
Watching him over the years, Ryan has always struck me as that kind of guy. After reading your touching tributes, it seems that he was.
People like Ryan never really die;they live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved them.
R.I.P. Ryan
