He was drinking and driving. He killed himself with a friend/Soldier. He could of taken out your family. I live in PA. off Rt 322. Could of been my Me/Family. Be nice to see something on the man he killed. The man that was a soldier and fought/protected out country. The soldier deserves the top search. Not Ryan.I am a fan of Jackass. Love it. Ryan made me lmao many many times. Broke my heart when he passed. But in the long run I was more disappointment that he made such a Jackass decision. You people can bash me all you want. I am still so sad. I watch 3D and 3.5 and while I laugh, it's so obvious that Jackass will not be the same. I am not even sure if they have another movie in them, to be honest. Ryan Dunn was the show's closer... he was a rock in that group and my heart just goes out to all of them but especially poor Bam and his parents - I understand that the Westchester guys were all really close. I know how it is to lose a dear friend. Nothing makes it feel better but the memories help.

I remember like it was yesterday. My dad died when I was five so these thongs upset just like they would anyone else. But my mom woke me up (im 12) and told me and I just started balling. I recorded a bunch of news programs and just watched them all-day. We shouldn't be sadder that every day that passes by for you are one day closer to the next time you'll get to see him. He found something worth dying for and God pulled him up there so he could tell him all about it. Ryan will definitely be missed. I hope all your loved ones are doing well. Sometimes I sneak out to the living room late at night when I can't sleep to watch the Ryan Dunn tribute over and over till I fall asleep.

Hi Kari,I wrote earlier today in a post. I don't mean to sound like starnge remedies will work or anything, but has your family read about the effects that Ambien sometimes can have on a person in a coma. I read about a man who had been in a coma for around 20 years and the family was trying to get him on a regular sleep cycle , so the doc prescribed Ambien (a sleep aid), but for some reason it woke the man up into a semi-conscious state. I have heard that it affects the brain of someone in a coma differently than someone who is awake. Anyway, I have dealt with 3 brain injuries in my family (1 baby in car crash who passed from brain swelling, 1 adult cousin in a car crash in a coma for 6 weeks who is basically fine now, and 1 adult husband in a motorcycle crash who is alive but severly disabled on his left side), and I know that I welcome any research that may help. I feel, the brain is not trying to heal iteslf and it's just trying to adjust. That's good news so the body will react funny but in the end, he will be a walking miracle. Keep up the good work Ryan family, and remember, try and get some rest though I know it's hard, do try to get some rest even if it means taking turns to watch over Ryan. I've prayed for Ryan.

Ken, you have to believe you ARE manikg the right decision with the baclofen. You will never know what's possible with Ryan unless you do. You've taken such great care of him to help his body heal, and the baclofen has protected him along the way. Keep stepping forward with the reductions.

Although the animals that did this to Ryan did not get the time that they deesrved, I find comfort in the fact that they will have to live with what they did for the rest of their lives. They could start to at least TRY to chip away at that guilt by doing something positive to make it right: VanTrease and May Families: How about working on that court-ordered restitution in THIS lifetime?
