Anyone that has seen The Birth of Big Air knows Mat Hoffman has lived more life in his now 40 years on Earth than most men will ever live in a lifetime (or lifetimes, in the case of any reincarnated Hindus). He is, without a doubt, a true inspirational hero to any kid with an independent spirit and a flair for the air, and for that we salute him on the day of his birth—Happy Birthday, Mat!

This word is often overused nowdays but Mat really is a legend. What he's done for the sport and the things he has done, I can not see anyone else having such an impact like he has. The Birth of Big Air documentary was great and very well done by Tremaine ;)

Its like a train wreck you cant look away from and the VH1 editing (especially sound effects) is terrific. Plus Bret is wearing the same clothes he wore circa 1990 (long Cow leather duster last night). You really cant beat it.

These are all great lessons. As i read tgourhh them, I was nodding in agreement and laughing because I can relate.Isn't raising boys one of the most mysterious things?! Gotta love em My children had a 2 day school week: closures for Superstorm Sandy, then teacher in-service Friday. I woke up wanting to send them to school today only to realize it's Saturday.
