What's up, ese? More like what the fuck is an ese, you know? I once found myself on the receiving end of an ese in 1989 that had me scrambling over a schoolyard chain-link fence in Santa Barbara, California, amid a rain of aspiring vato punches—but that's a story for another episode of Mi Vida Loca. Let's just stick to the photographic matter at hand and address the four OG BMXicans as they posed in Bithlo, Florida, circa 2002. We were "Camp Paining" it for a three-day stand on jackass the movie then, two of which were partially absorbed by a "BMXican Wakeboarding bit that never really panned out cinematically.
My memories on this appear to have brain-panned out over time as well, because Mat Hoffman is the only one I can really remember making anything to make ado about (as seen on yesterday's official Mat Hoffman birthday post). But I think Ryan Dunn may have given it a shot—a brief, failing shot. And Chris Pontius may have tried to walk the walk, because he definitely talked the talk. Danger Ehren ... ah, what the heck ... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he scratched a labia on it, too. In the end, it was just a failed excuse to buy time as Tim Payne and his Keebler elves finished up work on the equally failed "Rube Goldberg" experiment that fell from potential movie close grace to definite DVD bonus feature filler.
Incidentally, this scan came from a 35mm slide that I didn't exactly bother to take the time cleaning up. Hence that pubic-looking hair dangling oh so appropriately up by Danger Ehren's head. Boom!
Still with me? Bored beyond tears while waiting for a battle beyond the stars? Pick up jackass the unrated movie on DVD for the cheap as dirt nonce.

Well, if anyone was going to nail it, it would have to have been Chris, because of that little bit of Mexican blood he's rockin'. Although, before I knew better, my money had always been on Irish, because he resembles Colin Farrell much more than he does, say, George Lopez. (But really, it's probably because he was so damn convincing as "Irish Henchman" in Charlie's Angels 2. The Academy just didn't know what they were missing.)

They say that only the good die young. Ryan was a TERRIFIC person! Big respect for Johnny who speaks so much and so greatly in the MTV tribute because it's heartbreaking and hard.. People say there are no heroes these days - Ryan was one, and apart from being so brave, strong, smart and highly intelligent he was helping with one of the hardest powers to own in this world - smile and a real attitude of a true friend! Thank you for being a real person and teaching us how to be one! This legacy is very great, yet also so aching when you're not here with us..See you someday brother, in other place than Earth! I know it's as real as you were for us all. Warm words again for the family and crew which - along with Ryan - also made my life better!!! Yours very truly, Luke from Poland.

Posted on Im the artist who paeitnd the Clint on the pig for the poster seen on this page. I lived in Santa Cruz at the time I paeitnd it. Clint was running for Mayor and my step father played saxaphone at Clints Mission Ranch. Clint enjoyed this lithograph and signed one for me. I still have several. I enjoyed seeing it on this website. Im now known as the most prolific Obama artist and currently working on a painting of Jay Leno. Ron Keas

Christine Morgan Posted on I don't think he looks cantankerous or btiter. I think he looks sad. And wouldn't you be too if your mommy told the whole world how not-cute you are. I think I may go to the corner and cry a tear for the little guy. ;)

Even though I'm Canadian and today isn't even Thanksgiving for me I want to say that I'm so thnafkul for you, Maya. You aren't like some of the parents I follow on CaringBridge who have lost a child to the same asshole that took Ronan. You don't say he's in a better place', he's not hurting anymore', he's playing with the angels'. No. You're real, you write how you really feel and how you SHOULD feel after what you've been through. You have changed my life and I can't thank you enough for that. Ronan isn't the first child neuroblastoma fighter to come into my life but he is definitely one of the most important to me. Not to say that other children aren't important. They absolutely are and always will be very dear to me, but Ronan was, and still is, very special. Taylor Love is the reason I first heard of, and decided to fight against, neuroblastoma. She survived it and then survived chemo-induced leukemia (what a sick joke) and the almost died again when her kidneys started to fail because of some sort of complication due to her bone marrow transplant to cure the leukemia She's had it rough but she's a healthy, but always still fighting 7-year-old now and has been NED for awhile. She's an inspiration to me but she made it. She has a happy ending, I am so happy for that but Ronan should have had one too. That right there is why he is my reason to keep pushing on. He didn't get the chance to have a happy ending while he was with you and so I will dedicate my life to making sure his happy ending is carried out even though he isn't physically here. I want to help you however I can to obliterate the monster that is cancer. Well That was much longer than I thought and now it isn't even Thanksgiving anymore as it is past midnight here Well I guess the whole point of this is to say thank you so much for your raw, real words and for giving me the strength and motivation to keep plugging through school and become the nurse that will (hopefully) change the world for some very special kids one day.Lots of love,Kailee <3
