Stranger things I'm sure have happened, but in October 2010 the film, a/k/a major motion picture, jackass 3D was presented at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Neat, huh? We've never flaunted ourselves as "artists" in the jackass sense—"fartists" is a far more apt term, really—but do hold absurdity in the highest regard, and what's more absurd than something like "The Poocano" premiering before an exclusive crowd of MoMA members? Anyway, most all of this is neither here nor there aside from the fond memory, but what really brought this to mind is that it's former MTV executive Judy McGrath's birthday today and here she is posing with the cornerstones of Dickhouse, Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and Spike Jonze post-MoMA presentation. Not that I even need to point these things out anymore, but I still get tickled whenever someone is "covering up" in public, high-profile events. Just goes to show you how scarred we are all from years of fun loving abuse to each other's shell-shocked garbage. Happy Birthday, Judy!
